Bringing weddings to life with flowers!

Floristry is a key element of wedding styling, creating atmosphere, romance and breathtaking displays.

This award celebrates florists who design stunning floral arrangements, from bouquets to large-scale installations, that perfectly reflect a couple’s vision.

Judges will look for: creativity, originality, sustainability, craftsmanship, a strong understanding of floral trends, and the ability to personalise designs to each couple’s theme.

Please note this category requires a digital portfolio and samples of wedding floral design to be provided for in-person judging. Entrants must create their own floral design.

Entry Questions:

  1. Tell us about you and your business – include how many weddings you service each year, pricing and if you are a preferred supplier
  2. Describe your initial consultation / meeting with the couple, how do you incorporate a couple’s vision into your work?
  3. Once you know their budget, describe how you meet the couple’s needs
  4. What is your approach to floral design and what has been your most challenging or fulfilling floral design?
  5. What makes you different and why do you deserve to win this award this year?

In your supporting evidence, please provide us with examples of different designs  you have created for wedding couples, this should include bouquets and venue decor if applicable, any brochures you may have and include a maximum of 6 testimonials that support your entry.

In-person judging:

Our judges will require one floral piece only, for example a bouquet, posy or table centre. As you will not be given access to the judging room to create any display feature, we ask that the piece provided is ready to view – either tied, in a vase or favoured receptacle or, it may be a small created feature set within a presentation box. But this must be 1 single item only please.

Together with your floral example, please also provide a note sheet for our judges to tell them a little about your creation and please ensure that everything you provide is clearly marked with your business name.

Please note all items supplied for judging will be treated with the greatest respect but the organisers do not accept responsibility for any damage or loss.

All entrants must have been trading for a minimum of 12 months as at time of judging (October 2025) and be based in Kent.
