Award Criteria
Capturing emotion through music!
From setting the arrival scene to the walk down the aisle, wedding breakfast entertainment to first dances with a difference, this category recognises outstanding live wedding performances by solo artists or small ensembles, who create a romantic and intimate wedding atmosphere with their live performances.
Judges will look for: musical excellence, versatility and emotional impact that delights and impresses both the happy couple and their guests.
Entry Questions:
- Tell us about you and your business; include whether you are a preferred supplier, how long you perform for, the services you offer and how many weddings you have attended in the last 12 months.
- Describe your musical style and repertoire.
- Describe your contact/consultation process and how you interact with the couple and their guests on the night?
- What is your typical set style/length, how do you customise performances for couples and do you offer any other services?
- What makes you different and why do you deserve to win this award this year?
In your supporting evidence, please include evidence of any association memberships, certificates such as PAT testing etc. and provide video examples of a range of weddings where you have performed, any other brochures/imagery that showcase your offering, and include a maximum of 6 testimonials that support your entry.
All entrants must have been trading for a minimum of 12 months as at time of judging (October 2025) and be based in Kent.
