Award Criteria
Adding magic and fun to weddings!
This category celebrates creative entertainers who bring something different to the wedding experience, from illusionists to interactive experiences and it is open to all types of non-live musical acts – from magicians and jugglers to dancers, singing waiters, comedy performers, fairground rides to sketchers – the list is (nearly) endless!
Judges will look for: originality, engagement and, of course, guest enjoyment. Entries are open to individuals or companies who offer couples real entertainment that delights and impresses both the happy couple and their guests.
Entry Questions:
- Tell us about you and your business; include whether you are a preferred supplier, how long you perform/entertain for, the services you offer and how many weddings you have attended in the last 12 months.
- Describe your wedding entertainment service, why does it appeal to couples?
- Describe your contract/consultation process and how you interact with the couple and their guests on the night
- Describe your approach to curating wedding entertainment, tailoring for different weddings and how you adapt to different audiences and themes.
- What makes you different and why do you deserve to win this award this year?
In your supporting evidence, please include evidence of any association memberships, certificates such as PAT testing etc. and provide video examples of a range of weddings where you have entertained, any other brochures/imagery that showcase your offering, and include a maximum of 6 testimonials that support your entry.
All entrants must have been trading for a minimum of 12 months as at time of judging (October 2025) and be based in Kent.
