Rustic charm meets breathtaking beauty!

Barn wedding venues offer a perfect blend of countryside elegance and relaxed romance, providing couples with a stunning backdrop of wooden beams, exposed brick, and open spaces. This category is for barn venues that create magical, character-filled settings for weddings, whether in traditional Kentish oast houses, converted farm buildings or purpose-built rustic venues.

Judges will look for: exceptional service, unique charm, flexibility of the space and the ability to create a magical and memorable wedding experience.

Entry Questions:

  1. Tell us about your business, when it was established and how many weddings it services on average each year and the licences you hold.
  2. Describe your barn venue, including its history, unique features, and capacity.
  3. Explain how you create an unforgettable wedding experience for couples; include whether you have an in-house/external events team, planner etc. and how you work with your couples.
  4. Provide examples of weddings held at your venue, showcasing versatility and atmosphere, remember to include information about catering, accommodation options and capacity.
  5. What makes you different and why do you deserve to win this award this year?

In your supporting evidence, please provide us with your wedding brochures and images which depict the style of wedding/ spaces you offer, including package options. You may also include additional imagery/document (e.g. menus) that showcase your offer/extra services and include a maximum of 6 testimonials that support your entry.

All entrants must have been trading for a minimum of 12 months as at time of judging (October 2025) and be based in Kent.
